Ohhh, black tourmaline! What to say about black tourmaline... you can't have too much. It's just divine. Divine looking, great feeling, so fascinating. That glassy black with crazy striations. I'm just babbling here, but if ya know, ya know, right? This one is a so great with mica It's large, and makes a great display piece. It sheds a bit, if you know Brazilian tourmaline, it can shed, so maybe put it in a bowl or on a plate. So earthy and grounding.
Schorl is best known as "Black Tourmaline". Although other forms of Tourmaline may be black, Schorl is exclusively black and, unlike other Tourmaline forms, is never transparent or even translucent.
