Lazulite is one of the prettiest of blue mineral specimens, in my opinion, because it's blue is so unique. It's a certain color of blue that's hard to describe, and unusual to find. There are many crystals on this piece, and it's much lovelier in person.
From the Arabic azul – “sky” and the Greek lithos – “stone.”
