Who is a Vivianite fan? I've never met someone who is familiar that is 'meh' about it. We all love it! This sweet little piece of vivianite is a fun way to add one to your collection. It's got a beautiful pine green hue, and layers. Fun fact about Vivianite is that it exhibits pleochroism, showing green on the flat faces and blue on the sides of the layers.
Keep all vivianite out of the sunlight, or even better in a dark spot so it retains it's pretty hue.

Note - This specimen is hot glued to a plexiglass stand. The stand is not perfect. It can be removed by carefully heating the base with a hair dryer to soften the glue. Be careful though.
